The Automated Video App ("the Service", available at automatedvideoapp.com and via its Claude connector) lets you turn a topic or script into a short narrated video. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
When you sign in we store your email address and an account identifier, used to authenticate you and associate your videos with your account. When you create a video we store the inputs you provide (topic or script, title, language and rendering options) and the generated video, its status and metadata. If you connect the Service to Claude, we issue and store hashed access tokens (never the plaintext) so the connector can act on your behalf. Basic technical logs (timestamps, error information) are kept to operate the Service.
Your data is used solely to provide the Service: to authenticate you, generate and deliver your videos, meter usage against your plan, and support and secure the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your video inputs or outputs to train our own models.
To render and deliver videos we pass the necessary data to infrastructure providers acting on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database), Pollinations (AI image, audio and video generation), and Cloudflare R2 (temporary storage and delivery of the finished video). Each processes data only to perform its part of the render. We share data with law enforcement only where legally required.
If you choose to publish to YouTube, TikTok or Facebook, you connect your own account and we store the resulting access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Tokens are decrypted only in memory, only at the moment of an upload you asked for, and are never logged, never shown back to you, and never shared with anyone.
We request the narrowest permissions that allow publishing and nothing else: YouTube — upload videos to your channel. TikTok — read your basic profile so we can show which account is connected, and upload video content. Facebook — list your Pages, read Page engagement, and publish posts to the Page you select. We do not read your feed, messages, followers, friends or analytics, we do not post anything you have not explicitly asked us to publish, and we never post on a schedule you did not create.
We use this access solely to upload the videos you generate here. We do not use social data for advertising, profiling, training models, or resale. Disconnecting a platform in Avatars & Voice → Social deletes its stored tokens from our database immediately; you may also revoke access from the platform's own settings. Deleting your account deletes all connected account records.
Generated video files are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted after roughly 24 hours unless you download or publish them; download or publish your video to keep it. Account records (your email and account identifier) are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact below.
You can disconnect the Claude connector at any time from Claude's Settings → Connectors, which revokes its access. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
