Most AI video tools write the script for you whether you want them to or not. If you already have the words — a product explainer, a training module, a piece of copy that took a week to get signed off — you should not have to hand them to a model and hope.

The script is split into scenes at sentence boundaries. Each scene gets its own picture, its own narration line and its own word-timed captions, and it lasts exactly as long as its line takes to read. That is why length is a target rather than a cap: ask for 30 seconds with a 90-word script and you will get about 45, because the narration decides.
Roughly 40 words is 30 seconds. Write to that and the timing lands where you expect.
Still images normally get a slow Ken Burns pan, which flatters a photograph. It ruins a slide — it drifts and crops the very text the narration is reading out.
